Okay, the web calendars and reservations using AJAX transport are up and running.
I think the calendar is particularly impressive.
Now what to call it? At first I liked Linkable Calendar but I soon realized it sounded too much like a calendar running on a sepereate web page. Besides, Aximize already had linkable calendar up and running for quite a while.
For now my favorite is Embeddable Calendar because I think that describes it best.
Rentors.org calls their calendar a Universal Vacation Rental Availability Calendar. That is quite a mouthful. Their calendar, which is the industry standard, is linkable but not embeddable. I wonder if Universal is their trademark? It sounds pretty generic.
But what is a Universal calendar anyway? Is it one that is free to everyone? Or is it available everywhere in the universe? Well this Aximize calendar is free and available everywhere in the universe with an internet connection, so I guess we can call it The Aximize Universal Embeddable Vacation Rental Availability Calendar.
I may have to think about this a bit more.

Aximize web calendars and web tools for vacation property
As I write this first Aximize blog the company is emerging from a major shift in our marketing and business strategy.
Aximize has been in business in Hawaii for 8 years and has published several versions of our property rental calendars and web management tools. Most of our clients have been vacation rental managers on Maui, although we also have users as far away as Alaska.
Aximize features both a free and a paid version. Both versions give users the ability to create and share calendars, track rentals by renter name, and put units on hold.
We will be offering a stylable easily modifiable calendar that users can easily paste into any web page with just a simple line of code.
Aximize users will still be able to share listing and property information, give and receive access permissions, and allow online reservations to their rental units through agents and others users of their choosing.
